“The sky is the daily bread for the eyes.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

Taking photographs is a passion of mine. Few things bring me greater joy.

“To walk into nature is to witness a thousand miracles.” – Mary David

Nothing planned. No special equipment or props. Just me grabbing for my camera in an ordinary moment, often relying on sheer instinct of where to point and click because the wind has inevitably blown the hair into my face, a child is simultaneously tugging at my sleeve, the light of the sun off the water is blinding my eyes, or they are likely squinted from the excited smile on my face. A show-stopping sunset or glistening wings on a bee, I take pleasure in the little things and in my pictures and writing, I hope it shows.

“And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don’t believe in magic will never find it.” – Roald Dahl
